STADIUM CUSHIONS
CHALLENGE
Midwest Rubber was asked to create a low-cost, practical cushion that would be used on stadium and bleacher seats at school functions.
SOLUTION
Midwest Rubber created stadium cushions that were a “winner.” Using our foam molding process, we produced a soft, closed-cell foam rubber pad coated in vinyl. Not only affordable, this recreational product is perfect for sporting events, gardening or other outdoor activities. The vinyl completely seals the cushion, creating a durable, washable and waterproof finish. The finished size is approx 9″ x 17″, a perfect fit for stadium and gymnasium bleachers, and includes a molded handle for easy carrying. The cushion is available in an array of vibrant color combinations and is affordable, making it a great promotional and fundraising product for schools.
Our customer had a concept for a foot-operated duck call, which required significant redesign of a standard call. Our engineers researched and tested and came up with a bellows system that could be used hands-free and produced just the right range of calls that any duck hunter would want.
We helped bring our customer’s innovative concept for a hockey training tool to fruition. We worked together to develop the ideal material and form for a hockey puck rebounder, which is now used around the world and even by the Detroit Red Wings!
We created a stadium cushion that was a “winner.” Not only affordable, its vinyl seal was durable, washable, comfortable and waterproof, and came in a wide range of colors. The result was an ideal promotional product for our customer.
After his decoy molds were destroyed, we helped our client re-purpose some older materials so they could be used to make new molds for more than 10 different waterfowl species. We saved our customer time and money and helped give his new business a fresh start.
