A new customer had invented a brand new training tool to be used by hockey teams throughout several different countries. We needed to come up with the best material with the correct physical properties to accomplish the desired action for hockey practice sessions.
Midwest Rubber created a prototype tool to test out various rubber materials and enabled the inventor to select the optimum rubber compound. We then made a final mold with design input from all that we learned in the development process. The product was manufactured using our thermoset molding process, with a proprietary rubber blend. This resulted in the Give-N-Go hockey puck rebounder, the perfect tool for rebounding hockey pucks in a practice setting. In fact, today it is even used by the Detroit Red Wings!
