Mr. Reckinger began his career at Midwest Rubber in 1957 as assistant to the President. He continued to stay with the company through the several ownership changes that took place. He was Vice President and General Manager of the Midwest Rubber Division for Bohrman from 1967 to 1987. He became President and General Manager of the Midwest Rubber Division for Sudbury Inc., from 1987 to 1992, and maintained the title of President and General Manager of the Midwest Rubber Division for Newcor Inc., from 1992 to 1995. Newcor reorganized and his title changed to Group Vice President.of the Newcor Rubber & Plastic Group from 1995 to 1998. Mr. Reckinger retired from Newcor in 1998 and was retained as a Consultant. In 2003 he founded a group known as KEDD, and they purchased the Midwest Rubber Company. Mr. Reckinger remained a Director, Officer of the company, and served as President Emeritus until his passing in 2012.
